We are extremely happy and proud to share the report of Micro level Job Fair–2024 conducted exclusively for 2020 batch Civil Engineering students on 25th March 2024 at Dr.M.G.R Educational & Research Institute.
The job fair started graciously with an inaugural ceremony in the Auditorium hall by traditionally lighting the kuthu vilakku. Dr.T.Kavitha, Head of Civil Engineering Department extended a warm welcome to all participants, emphasizing the significance of the job fair in connecting students with potential employers and fostering career opportunities. Dr.C.Balakrishnan, Dean campus placement and IIPC provided an overview of the job fair, highlighting its objectives, the participating companies, and the opportunities available for students. Dr.Kalpalatha Reddy, Addl. Dean E&T (Academics), delivered a speech underscoring the importance of Civil Engineering in today’s world. She elaborated on the diverse career paths and opportunities awaiting students in the field, inspiring them to explore and excel. Dr.RM.Narayanan, Dean sponcered Research, Green & Smart Campus, graced the occasion.
The job fair served as a platform for students to interact with representatives from various companies, network with professionals and explore internship and job opportunities in the field. Through engaging sessions and interactive discussions, attendees gained valuable insights into the industry’s requirements and expectations.
