The Faculty of Humanities and Science, Department of English organized an ‘Alumni Interaction Program on Career and Opportunities’on 19th October 2023. The program was conducted via online mode.
The program started with a welcome address by Ms. Soundarya from III BA English, she welcomed the gathering and introduced the guests of the event. Dr. A. Anitha, Head, Department of English addressed the gathering with valuable insights on the career and opportunities.
Then the session was handed over to our guest speakers of the day. Ms. Deepthi, Asst.Professor, interacted with the students regarding the career opportunities available for the students. Later Ms. Blessy shared valuable information about the importance of internship and it’s role when it comes to job opportunities.The session had been taken over by Ms. Dharshini, she gave detailed descriptions on the job opportunities available and ideas to prepare for wide opportunities. The session was concluded by Ms. Anbukkarasi who gave useful tips for competitive examinations.
Dr. Mary Thomas, Dean, Department of English presented a special address on career opportunities.
The session came to an end with a vote of thanks by Ms. Kavitha from III BA English. The session was hosted by Ms. Jenifer from III BA English.
