One day workshop on the topic Transforming legal minds

Tha Faculty of Law in association with Lexnicity organized a one day workshop on the topic ” Transforming legal minds” a career perspective on 30th August 2023 from 10.30 to 1.30 pm. The speaker of the session was Mr.M.Maharaja Advocate, Former Additional public prosecutor and special Government pleader Madras High court .The speaker discussed that “The importance of Effective interpretation of legislations and procedural application . He has highlighted Habeas carpus writ and it’s procedural instricancies intersecting Constitutional law,further he has thrown light on important provisions like sec 304 IPC, section 174 Crpc,Dowry Prohibition Act, etc. The speaker discussed the practical nuiances on the cheque dishonour cases. As a well experienced advocate on Hindu Religious and charitable Endowment he discussed many practical difficulties in detail highlighting Athivaradhar case etc, It was an eye opening session for students to understand the topic with practical examples.
