Report Of The Event ‘English For All’ (EFA)

The literary Seminary: A Professional society. The club feels privileged to share the report of the event, ‘English For All’ (EFA) an outreach program at Ramakrishna Vidya Niketan Higher Secondary School, Thiruverkadu, a unit of Udhavum Karangal on 7.7.2023. Thirty-one enthusiastic literary seminary students from different Faculties ( Architecture, E&T and H&S) were accompanied by energetic faculty members, convenor Literary Seminary, Deputy Head and Head, Department of English. The first journey to promote ‘Communicate English Effectively’ started at 10.00 from the Main Campus and reached the venue by 11.00am. We were welcomed with great hospitality by the Headmistress and the teaching fraternity of the Institution. The student members were overwhelmed by the discipline and the response of the school children. They trained them to introduce themselves and how to communicate in English following the right tense through activities. “One of the most powerful ways to engage students is to let them take charge of their own learning.” The club members had the privilege of learning by teaching the underprivileged children. A positive feedback from the school children was the greatest achievement by the club. The Literary Seminary society gratefully expresses it’s heart felt thanks to our Hon.President for the generosity and encouragement to perform the event of social responsibility and it also extends its gratitude to all the executives for the motivation and guidance.
