The 31 st special lecture was organized by the Faculty of Law In line with the celebration s of “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHAOTSAV’ on the topic An Introduction to Transactional Law by a Litigation Lawyer on 25th April 2023 from 10.00 AM to 1PM. The speaker of the session was Mrs. C Bhargavi who is a Litigation lawyer having experience for more than 10 years of practicing on various fields of Law. She shared her experience on the skills for the upcoming budding lawyers. She highlighted on transactional law to be applied on corporate world which is used for negotiation and drafting. She implied and insisted on learning the drafting skills which is the backbone of the budding lawyer. She highlighted on different types agreement which is used broadly in the IT profession. She shared how the Patenting software in India is not obtained easily, highlighting the difficult to get trademark in our favour especially in India. Examples of cases in Privacy Law and the positions of Google Case, Apple Case and many major companies who have been affected and their privacy has been compromised. It was an eye- opening session for students to understand the practicality of difficulty of Lawyers practicing in Courts if they are not dedicated to their profession. The Programme ended with question and answer session.
