The Department of English conducted an Interdisciplinary Lecture on Importance of Physical Activities on 1st March 2023
at the auditorium, Ramanujam Block, Main campus.
The program began with a Welcome Address by Dr. A. Anitha, Head, Department of English. The Resource person was introduced by Ms. Haridharni BA student.
Dr. M. Mahalingam, Professor and Addl.Head, Department of Physical Education and Sports gave an eye opening talk about physical activity. He raised awareness on the dangers of a sedentary life. He encouraged students to exercise and eat healthy.At the end of the session, the resource person clarified the queries of the students. After his presentation the vote of thanks was given by Ms. Deborah Priscilla from II M. A. English. The whole program was hosted by Ms. Sankavi ,MA final year student.
The program was coordinated by Ms V. Vijaya, Assistant Professor, Department of English.
