Technical Talk on “Low Power Design Methodologies”

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering association ECOMET conducted technical talk on the topic “Low Power Design Methodologies ” organized by Mr.N.Lakshminarayanan and Mr.P.Jaisankar on 20/02/2023 at 2 pm in the seminar hall. The event started off with a welcome address by Mr.N.Lakshminarayanan. The Guest Speaker was introduced to the audience by Mr.Faisal of III year ECE student .The guest speaker for the event was Mr.Hariharan Krishnamoorthy Srinivasan , Director of Engineering, Wafer Space, an ACL Digital Company. The speaker commenced the address about the ubiquitous nature of power in everyday life. He demonstrated the power dissipation in the form of heat using a video .He dwelt upon the different types of strategies involved in achieving low power. The event, duly aided by Mrs.S.Elakkiya, Event Coordinator of the department and Dr.U.Jayalatsumi, Head of the Department, ECE ended off with a constructive feedback from all the participants. Mr.Vengatesh of III year ECE proposed a vote of thanks as a mark of respect to the guest. The Department wholeheartedly thank our Honorable President for his constant support and all the executives for their continuous encouragement in organizing the event.
