We thank our dynamic and Honorable President Sir for his guidance and being a pillar of support in all our endeavors. Special thanks to Dr.S.Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor who shown the right platform to explore in the CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE IN TEACHER EDUCATION RACHANA WINTER SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP 2022 (TATA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES, MUMBAI). Three students from Faculty of Education (B.Ed. – II year) named Sangam Singh, L. Shikha Bhargav and Simran Kumari have been participated the fellowship programme.
The Day 1 session was chaired by Prof. Padma Sarangapani on the topic ‘Educating in the 21st century after the pandemic’. The session gave a broad idea upon the current education scenario. The next session was on the topic reflective teaching and forming COP taken by Dr. Bindu Thirumalai. She emphasized on the benefits of reflective teaching to teachers. Through reflective teaching, the teachers can explore and discover their own ideas and practices, which can make the teachers more proficient and skilled in teaching. A parallel interactive pedagogy sessions were also held. In the evening, students were taken to a visit to library of TISS campus.
