Report of the Seventh Day Dheeksharam

Faculty of Education feels delighted to share the report of the seventh Day Dheeksharam Student Induction Programme held on 08-11-2022 at 10:30 A.M with B.Ed first year students. The session was chaired by Dr.R.Jayam, HOD, Dept. of HRM, Phase ll Campus, Adayalampattu on ‘Women Empowerment ‘. She highlighted the gender basic discrimination which is happening in our country and statistical data of crime against women, current population and also the threats which are faced by women. She mentioned the role of teacher in women empowerment. She highly insisted that women empowerment encourages people to gain the skills and knowledge that will allow them to overcome obstacles in life or work environment and ultimately, help them develop within themselves or in the society. She made the whole session interactive and highly beneficial. The Faculty of Education is pleased to express its gratitude to our Honourable President for the opportunity to organize this Deeksharambh Student Induction Program (7 Days) that enkindles the minds of the learning fraternity. It also extends its gratefulness to all the executives for their constant encouragement.
