Faculty of Education is delighted to share the report of the seminar on ‘Teacher as a Counselor’- Professional Society Event, held on 18.08.2022 at 11:00 AM. The chief guest for the day was Ms. Jyothi Kolathur, Member of Yellow Pond Counselling Centre, Chennai. She delivered an enriching and illuminating session about the importance of teachers, being a counsellor and how it leads to mutual understanding and development of proper discipline, a necessity for every one.
Students diligently participated in the session and became aware of various difficulties that will be faced as a teacher and steps to deal them for the betterment of both the students and the teachers.
Lastly, the students posed their questions and feedbacks. The whole session was interactive and highly beneficial for the budding teachers.
Faculty of Education is pleased to express its gratitude to our honorable President for the opportunity to organise the events that enkindle the minds of the learning fraternity. It also extends its gratefulness to all the executives for their constant encouragement.
