Faculty of Education is pleased to share the report of the third day short term course on ‘Curriculum Design and Development’ held on 16.02.2022 with 305 participants. The virtual gathering was given a convivial welcome and the guest started her presentation after the introduction.The session on ‘Approaches to Curriculum Evaluation’ was informative on the seven steps to develop the curriculum- Diagnosis of needs, Formulation of objectives, selection of content, organization of content, selection of learning experiences and determination of what to evaluate. It also extended on the needs for curriculum evaluation and elaborated the four approaches of curriculum namely Behavioural approach, Managerial approach, System approach and Humanistic approach and finally insisted that curriculum makes one sharp and shows the focus on the role of the learners, teachers and the curriculum specialists.
