The Faculty of Law is delighted to have organised a special lecture on the topic titled “The Importance of Legal Research in Administrative Law” on 14th February 2025 from 11:30 am to 1.30pm. The speaker of the session was Mr.P.Prakash, Assistant professor, P.G.& Research Department of Public Administration Presidency College. The speaker discussed about the importance of legal research in administrative law by analysing the relevant legal authorities and precedents. The speaker insisted the students to strengthen their case theories by provide evidence-based reasoning.
The speaker also elaborated on the intricacies in Legal Research. The event was organised by Dr. A.J.Kandasamy Associate Professor and Academic Coordinator, and Dr. J.James, Assistant professor. Student from 1st LLB (Hons) and 3rd BA.LLB (Hons) attended the session and interacted with the resource person. The session was interesting and informative to the students. The Special Lecture was conducted under the guidance, support and encouragement of Director Prof. Dr.N.Murugavel, Department Head Dr.R.Gomathy Sankari , Dr. M. Amaraa Deputy HOD and Mrs R.Shalini Deputy HOD. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Senthilkumar Sir, Dean (Administration) Phase II and Dr.AR.
