The Faculty of Education is pleased to share the report of the awareness program for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), held on 25th January 2025, in celebration of International Education Day (24th January 2025). The program was organized across 10 government schools with active participation from B.Ed. second-year students. The event aimed to raise awareness about the significance of education in achieving the United Nations SDGs, emphasizing the importance of sustainable development, gender equality, and social progress.
Students were introduced to the 17 SDGs and their global impact, with a focus on how education can play a key role in advancing these goals. Interactive sessions and activities helped foster a deeper understanding of how each individual can contribute to building a more sustainable and equitable world. The event successfully highlighted the connection between education and the achievement of global sustainability targets, inspiring students to take an active role in shaping a better future for all.
The Faculty of Education expresses its sincere gratitude to our Honorable President for granting us the opportunity to organize this impactful event, which has inspired and motivated young minds. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the executives for their continuous encouragement and steadfast support.
