Prevention of sexual harassment at workplace Act 2013

The faculty of law has organised the 72nd of 75 special Lecture series on “Prevention of sexual harassment at workplace Act 2013” on 2nd August 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Phase 2 campus, DR.MGRERI. The Chief speaker of the day was Dr. Mahalakshmi, TVS Motors, Chennai. The speaker discussed about sexual harassment acts such as physical contact and sexual advances, a demand or request for sexual favours, making sexually coloured remarks, showing pornography, and any other unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature..The speaker also discussed the duty of the employers who must take steps to prevent sexual harassment and ensure that the victims are not victimized or discriminated against. The session was organised by Mrs. R. Jeevitha and Ms.Ishwarya. The event was Convened by Mrs AR. Vijayalakshmi and Mrs. Shalini. Sincere thanks to our Director Prof. Dr .N.
