Seminar on Communication and Interpersonal Skills

The Department of Financial Planning organized a seminar on Communication and Interpersonal Skills, on 21-06-2024, for the Department students via Google Meet. The guest speaker for the day, Dr. Theresa Priya Darshini E, Head- Department of Commerce, Stella Maris College unraveled the significance of communication in a human’s life and how one can develop communication. A detailed explanation of the process of communication was given. With the help of some practical examples, she explained how one can overcome the barriers to good communication. Good communication is not limited to proficiency in languages and grammar, it also includes gestures, body language, haptics, listening, etc. Finally the session ended with vote iof thanks.We thank our Honorable President Er.
