Report of 5 Day International Online Faculty Development Program on The Topic ‘Outcome Based Education’

We are delighted to share the valedictory report of 5 day International Online Faculty Development Programme on the topic ‘Outcome Based Education’ which was jointly organized by Faculty of Education and Academic Staff College, Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute in association with Tamilnadu Teachers Education University on 9th June 2023 started at 3:10 p.m with welcome address delivered by Dr.V. Sharmila, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Technology, TamilNadu Teachers Education University. The FDP brief report was delivered by Dr. P. Senthamizh Pavai, Assistant Professor, Dr. M.G.R. ERI. The Guest of honor was introduced by Ms.J. Vigneshwari, Assistant Professor, Dr. M.G.R. ERI. The valedictory address was given by Dr. S. Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute. The guest of honor highly appreciated the team who has organized the FDP with well knowledgeable speakers and she expressed about the importance of OBE in the current scenario. Few of the participants shared their feedback and thanked the organizers. The programme which helped them to better understand the concept of OBE and Mapping of COs and POs. The purpose, results and outcomes were regarded as relevant and meaningful. Overall, the content of the FDP was highly appreciated by the participants. At last vote of thanks proposed by Dr. K.Geetha, Principal, Faculty of Education, Dr. M.G.R. ERI and the session ended with National Anthem. We express our deep gratitude to our Honorable President, Er. A.C.S. Arunkumar for his constant support and guidance to make this event a grand success.
