Report of Technical talk titled “Math Magic – Learn With Fun” organized by the Department of Mathematics, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, on 30th April 2025 in the Seminar Hall, Phase I campus. The objective of this event is to create interest in Mathematics among the students by understanding how Mathematics has been used in the Day to Day life as well as in their carrier path.
The Event was started at 2 pm. The welcome address was given by Dr.T.Johnson, Head, Department of Mathematics. The Introduction of the Resource Person, Dr.P.Godhandaraman, Associate Professor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai was given by Mrs.LakshmiPriya, Asst.Professor, Dept. of Mathematics. In his talk, Dr.P.Godhandaraman explained about how mathematics is used in Machine learning in particular Image processing. He further explained the various applications of Mathematics in Real life problems. The session was very muchinformative to the participants. Around 70 Students from various disciplines of B.Tech II year and III year were participated.
