The Faculty of Education successfully conducted Day 2 of the University Practical Examination for the Second Year B.Ed. students on 24th April 2025.
The examination was supervised by Dr.K.Saikumari, Associate Professor of Biological Science, Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE), Saidapet, Chennai, who served as the External Examiner, accompanied by a panel of faculty members. The evaluation focused on assessing the teaching competency of the students.
The students were assessed based on the following key parameters:
• Preparation and structure of the Lesson Plan
• Accuracy and depth of Subject Content
• Presentation skills during the teaching session
• Responses to viva questions posed by the examiner
The External Examiner carefully observed the teaching demonstrations and interacted with the students during the viva voce. The students responded to the questions with courage, clarity, and confidence, reflecting their academic understanding and readiness for classroom teaching.
