Report on the Interdisciplinary Lecture on “Importance of Oral Hygiene,” organized by the Faculty of Education, Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, on 3rd April 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Phase II Campus, Adayalampattu. The session was chaired by Dr. Vaishnavi V., Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry, Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital, Chennai. She delivered an insightful session on the significance of maintaining oral hygiene for overall health. She emphasized the impact of poor oral hygiene on systemic diseases and highlighted essential practices to prevent dental issues. The session covered key topics such as proper brushing techniques, the role of nutrition in oral health, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Her engaging and informative lecture helped students understand the crucial link between oral health and general well-being.
