The Faculty of Education is delighted to present the report on the subject lecture, “Test and Measurement,” delivered by Ms. J. Vigneshwari, Assistant Professor, on February 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in K101-Smart Room, Phase II Campus.
The session aimed to explain the various measurements and analysis used to evaluate the learner’s knowledge, skills and competencies.
She explained the measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode) summarize a dataset’s center, while measures of variability (range, variance, standard deviation, IQR) describe its spread. She also highlighted that testing and measurement are essential in education for evaluating learners’ knowledge, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and guiding future instruction.
We express our sincere gratitude to our esteemed President for his unwavering support and encouragement throughout our journey.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the university executives for their continuous motivation and guidance
