The Faculty of Humanities and Science, Department of English extremely happy to share the report of Subject Lecture on Women’s Writing: Her Words, Her Power held on 22/01/2025.
The speaker of the session was Dr. V. Karpagavadivu, Associate Professor, Deputy Head(Admin), Department of English.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Zulfath of III B. A. English, setting the tone for an engaging and insightful session.
Following the welcome address Ms.S.Sruthi, Research Scholar, introduced the speaker with a detailed profile highlighting her professional achievements and significant contributions.
The session was taken over by Dr. V. Karpagavadivu speaker of the day. The session gave an overview of rediscovering the literary legacy of women, highlighting the Women’s voices in literature. The session vividly concentrated on the increasing vicinity of women writers in global and digital spaces through activism and diverse storytelling technique and themes.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session with the faculty ,scholars and students. A platform was provided to everyone to exchange their ideas and views on the lecture which added depth to the session.
