On account of the World Cancer day, FoMS organized an ISR Event on Cancer awareness – United in our goals, Unique in our needs” on 4th Feb 2025 by Dr. K. Saravanabavan, MBBS, MS, Mch Pediatric Surgery, Emirates Professor, SLMCH, Adayalampattu, Chennai – 95. The Cancer Awareness Rally headed by Dr.G.Brindha,JR & HoD along with students & faculties from MBA Dept to the venue Govt School, Adayalampattu. We distributed 100 Nos of academic support materials(slate, chalk box, exam pad, pen, pencil, scale, eraser & sharpener)to the school students. The speaker delivered about cancer, its causes & symptoms to promote a supportive & healthy environment. Overall, the event was a successful initiative to understand early detection & prevention of cancer.
