Launch of the innovative “SEE4FIT WITH SDG”

The Faculty of Education is excited to announce the launch of the innovative “SEE4FIT WITH SDG” project action under #SDG4MGR Academic Integration (For College-In College-To College). This transformative initiative was inaugurated by our Honorable A.C. Shanmugam, Chairman, Honorable Er. A.C.S. Arunkumar, President, the Visionary Dr. S. Geetha Lakhmi, Vice Chancellor, distinguished Dr.C.B.Palanivelu, Registrar on 26th July 2024 at Main Campus. As Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute aptly states, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” This pioneering endeavor is a key component of the SEE4FIT WITH SDG. The aim of our project is to make a meaningful impact on the college community while aligning with global efforts toward sustainable development. By focusing on the pivotal SDG-17, our goal is to both elevate awareness and motivate students to take positive and impactful actions. We are confident in the transformative potential of this initiative and envision a future where the college community actively contributes to building a sustainable and equitable world. The project will be carried out over three months and will involve ten colleges in and around Chennai. We sincerely thank our respected President, Er. A.C.S. Arunkumar, for providing the essential funding needed to execute this project. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries who graced the inaugural session. Special thanks are due to Dr. L. Ramesh, Joint Registrar, EPA, for his invaluable guidance and support. We are also grateful to all the executives for their unwavering commitment. We humbly seek your blessings for the successful implementation of this initiative.
