The faculty of law has organised a workshop as the 50th of 75 special Lecture series on “Client counselling” on 3rd May 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Conference hall, Phase 2 campus , DR.MGRERI. The Chief speaker of the day was Mr. Kaviyanathan, Advocate Madras High Court. The speaker emphasized about client building and client management and suggested that interacting with people as an important element of advocacy. The speaker elaborated on career options available for a law graduate, area of practice, cross selling opportunities, client centered law firms, MIS ( management information system). The other speakers of the day are Mr.Vignesh, Mr. Mithesh, Ms. Madhumitha, Ms. Lekha Sri, Ms. Harini Yadav. The speakers elaborated how to categorize client on the basis of civil or criminal and even also in financial basis by awarding them with grades, public speaking, blogging , content writing. There was a mock client counselling session by the VOX IURA institute where all the participants had a great live experience on client counselling.
Post the mock event the participants were given a problem and top 4 teams were selected and was awarded with medals and certificates of appreciation. The lecture was really informative and eye-opening. The session was organised by Mrs.R.Shalini. The event was Convened by Mrs AR. Vijayalakshmi. Sincere thanks to our Director Prof. Dr .N.
