Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital, Chennai (A Constituent College of Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute) in association with Academic Staff College, under the benevolence of our Honorable Chairman Dr. A. GeethaLakshmi mam, Registrar Dr. C.B.Palanivel Sir, Director, Acadekic Staff College, Dr Malini Pande and Principal i/c Dr. Ramachandra Prabhakar, the First Faculty Development Program of this academic year (2024) – Refresher course was conducted by Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Conservative Dentistry, Public Health Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Pedodontics, from 6th May to 10th May 2024. This program is focused on innovation in teaching and research, included a series of lectures, delivered by esteemed speakers Prof. Dr Leena Sankari, Professor, Oral Pathology, Sree Balaji Dental College, Dr. S. Jothi Latha MDS, Senior Assistant Professor, Conservative Dentistry, Tamil Nadu Govt. Dental College, Dr. R. Kesavan MDS, PhD, Professor, Public Health Dentistry, TMDCH, Dr. Anitha MDS, Professor, Dept of Prosthodontics, SRM Dental College, Ramapuram and Dr. Ivan Obadiah MDS, Asst. Professor, Pedodontics, SRM Dental College, Kattankulathur. The target audiences for this program were the teaching staff of TMDCH and the total number of participants was 40. We are grateful for the support in organizing this event from our Principal In-charge Dr. Ramchandra Prabhakar, Additional Principal, Dr. Karthikeyan, Joint Registrars, Dr. A. R. Pradeep Kumar and Dr. Nadeem Jeddy, and Vice Principal, Dr. Uma Sudhakar.
