Report of the YACE’ 24, an Intra-University Competitions organized by the Department of English in commemoration of the National Youth Day Celebration on 21st March 2024.
Intra-University Competitions
started from 14/3/24 to19/3/24 to bring out talents of young minds. The students showcased remarkable interest and actively participated in all the competitions.
Dr.S.Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor, graced the occasion with her remarkable presence, honoured the guests and shared her thought-provoking message. Dr.G.Gopalakrishnan, Provost honoured the occasion and addressed the gathering with his provocative message.
Thiru. Iman Annachi , Actor and Television anchor was the chief guest of the day, he entertained the students with fun activities and the students were happily engaged in singing, dancing and interacting with him.Dr. Archana M. Sardhana , Head of PG and Research Department of English, Anna Adharsh College for Women was the guest of Honour,
delivered a Keynote address and had a interactive session with the students. Dr.Malini Pande, Additional Registrar shared her significant message.The Student participants from different campuses had enjoyed the session.
The prize winners of all the competitions were given certificates by the guests. Students who won in Creative Writing were awarded cash prizes for first three places.
