Technology Talk on ‘Gamification Techniques

We are delighted to share the report of the Technology Talk on ‘Gamification Techniques’ (E-content Development) held on 27.02.2024 with B.Ed. I and II year students. The speaker of the day was Dr. Vijaya Kalavakonda, Associate Professor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. She started an interactive session regarding school-classroom interaction, students’ interests, distractions based on the events and excitements happening in the classroom. Following this, she explained about the gamification components and tools that are helping the current school classes at the moment. She encouraged the students to utilise the gamification tools and also did some hands-on activities during the session. On behalf of the Faculty of Education, we express our sincere gratitude to our Honourable President for granting us permission to organise this event.
