The literary Seminary: A Professional society delighted to present the first-day report of the Health Development Program on “ Healthy and Happy Life”.The seminar commenced with a welcome note by Event Convenor, Dr. Anuradha, setting the tone for the insightful discussions ahead. Dr. L. Ramesh JR(EPA) elaborated on SDG4MGR, emphasizing the importance of sustainable development in the education. Following this, our esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Dr. S. Geethalakshmi, shared her profound insights on mental and physical health during the inaugural address. She honored the guest speakers with certificates and momentos, acknowledging their valuable contributions.
The session then transitioned to the first speaker, Dr. Vanitha R. Muralikumar, Director, Sairam Ayurveda Medical College. She elucidated on Ayurveda’s importance in our daily lives, emphasizing its role in maintaining physical and mental well-being. She discussed Ayurvedic medications as well as personalized treatments based on different personality types.
Subsequently, Dr. Vanitha, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at KMC Chennai, enlightened the second session on women’s health issues. She addressed prevalent concerns such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, obesity, PCOD, and infertility, providing statistical data and insightful explanations. She emphasized preventive measures to mitigate these health challenges, empowering attendees with valuable knowledge.
