5 DAY Certificate Training on ‘Art and Craft’.
Day 2 held on 12.3.2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at B.Ed. II year classroom, Phase II campus. Ms. Geetha, the mentor for the day, provided insightful guidance on the intricate art of embroidery work on cloth, a centuries-old tradition, holds profound cultural significance, showcasing delicate floral motifs and elaborate designs inspired by mythology. Skilled artisans employ techniques such as mirror work and zardozi to craft stunning masterpieces. During the session, students enthusiastically engaged in their embroidery work, selecting pictures to bring to life through their artistic endeavors.
Day 3 held on 13.3.2024 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The mentor for the day, enlightened the students about the rich diversity of Indian art forms vibrant folk paintings steeped in mythology. She introduced Gond Folk Art of MP and used various types of artistic styles such as molding and texture. Utilizing a 3D outliner, students were tasked with selecting their own pictures from Indian art forms, sparking active engagement and enthusiasm.
