report on ‘PLACEMENT ORIENTATION PROGRAM’ which was organized by the Faculty of Education, Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 29th February 2024 with B.Ed. I and II year students .
The resource person of today session Mrs .Reena Metilda Essaias, Founder and Academic Director of Metilda academy Chennai. She gave an intricate talk about Cambridge curriculum. She tailored specifically to their academic background and carrier aspiration in Cambridge Pathway. She also shared some of the tips and strategies for effective interviews preparation , emphazising the importance of showcasing pedagogical skills and passions for teaching during interview. She also desseminate the importance of some allplications like LinkedIn, Canva app in our daily lives. She highlighted about the steps of facilitator recruitment process . She explained each step very clearly . She also encouraged us to join 3 days workshop relating to Cambridge curriculum and also explored some of the benefits and drawbacks of cambridge curriculum. It was so blissful for us for getting an opportunity to get collaborate with such an experienced and talented resource person like her, we enjoyed as well learned one step forward regarding our carriers .
