Department of Periodontology, of Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital in association with Indian Society of Periodontology, conducted National Periodontists Day , with a theme of “NO BLEEDING GUMS DRIVE” – A Pink Health initiative on 22nd February 2024. The program was inaugurated by our Principal i/c Dr. Ramachandran Prabhakar, Additional Principal Dr. Karthikeyan, Vice Principal Dr. Uma Sudhakar, Dr. A.Ponsekar Abraham- Dean Academic Staff College, Dr. A.R. Pradeepkumar- Joint Registrar, HOD Dept of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Dr. Priya Ramani – HOD Dept of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Dr. Joyson Moses, HOD, Dept of Pedodontics and Dr. Vinitha Mary, HOD Dept of Community Dentistry and the teaching staff of Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital. Awareness among the public was created by Role play by the students. Distribution of oral health pamphlets, eco friendly tooth brushes and tooth paste samples were done.
