An Alumni Interaction series was organized by the department of Information Technology for the students of B.Tech-IT final year and pre final year on 22.02.2024 at 2.00 pm in Sun Java Academy.
Professor Dr. Dahlia Sam, Department of IT have inaugurated the event and gave a brief introduction about the event.
The session was presented by Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, Asset care, Chennai, 2004-2008 batch, Department of Information Technology, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute.
The speaker of the event, proud alumni, Mr. Rakesh Kumar has shared all his experience about the step by step growth and his struggles in his career. He has stated about the procedures each companies follow to train their employees according to their fits and needs and how important is to network people. He has encouraged all the students to have a long term vision and goals.
In his speech he has highlighted about the expectations and the key focus in group discussions during interviews and how important is to express their thoughts confidently. He explained about the value of decision making in all stages of one’s career. And informed the students that the textbook learning is not at all enough. He also felt very happy and grateful coming back to his college.
