The Literary Seminary: A Professional Society organized Glittecrazzy’24 on 06.04.2024 at R. A Block Auditorium. The Glittecrazzy ’24 unfolded as a captivating journey celebrating literature, culture, and intellectual exchange. Dr. Anitha, Head , Department of English, welcomed the gathering with an insightful message. Dr. Anuradha, convenor of The Literary Seminary, presented a comprehensive annual report, offering a reflective insight into the achievements and milestones from the preceding year, setting a tone of introspection and aspiration for the future. The event witnessed a mesmerizing dance performance by Ms. Priyanka,of I- MA English student, infusing an artistic flair into the proceedings. The unveiling of the second edition of the Glittecrazzy’24 Souvenir showcased the creativity and dedication of the society’s members, commemorating their collective endeavors. The symposium was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Gopalakrishnan, the provost, whose inspiring opening address laid the foundation for the intellectual deliberations to ensue. Dr. Malini Pandey, Addl. Registrar, Planning and Development, enriched the gathering with her special address, offering invaluable insights and wisdom. The Distinguished guests, including Dr. Gopalakrishnan, Associate Director of the Knowledge Management Department at Cognizant Technology Solution, Chennai, and Dr. Vijayalakshmi, Associate Professor of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, elevated the discourse with their chief guest and keynote addresses, respectively. The ceremony culminated in the uplifting moment of award distribution, where achievers and participants were honored for their contributions, receiving commendations and certificates from the dignitaries present. The event came to an end by vote of thanks proposed by faculty coordinator Ms. Vinothini. Glittecrazzy ’24 transcended mere celebration; it fostered a spirit of camaraderie, intellectual curiosity, and cultural appreciation among its participants, reaffirming the society’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a vibrant environment for growth and learning.
