Interdisciplinary lecture on ‘Eye Care’

The Faculty of Education is delighted to present the report of the Interdisciplinary lecture on ‘Eye Care’ held on 27/03/2024 for B.Ed. students at Phase II campus, Adayalampattu. The session, hosted by Dr. Rahini Raja, MBBS, DNB, (Opthalmology). The speaker emphasized the importance of eye care in maintaining overall health and discussed common eye conditions and diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She has elaborated students about good vision, which is essential for performing daily tasks, maintaining independence, and engaging in activities such as reading, writing, socializing, etc. she concluded a holistic overview of eye care, encompassing various aspects ranging from preventive measures and technological advancements. The Faculty of Education extends heartfelt gratitude to our Honorable President for granting us the opportunity to host an event.
