Seminar conducted by the Department of Mathematics titled “Recent Trends in Mathematics”

We are happy to share the report of the Seminar conducted by the Department of Mathematics titled “Recent Trends in Mathematics” held on 23/1/2024 in the Planet M lab, Department of Mathematics, Main Campus, Dr. MGR E & R I. The Event was started with Tamil Thai vazhthu and welcome address was given by the Head of the Department, Dr. T. Johnson. The Introduction of the Guest Speaker Dr. T. Gunasekar, Professor, Dept of Mathematics, Veltech, Chennai was given by Mrs.AR. P. Divya, Asst.Professor, Dept. of Mathematics. In his lecture, Dr.T.Gunasekar explained how Mathematics applied in various fields of Science and Technology. The lecture was very interesting and gave a deep insight into the subject. At the end of the talk, the questions raised by the faculty and student participants were answered by the speaker. Vote of thanks was given by Ms. Laksmipriya, Asst.Professor, Dept of Mathematics. The program ended with the National Anthem. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our Hon. President Sir for his constant support and encouragement. Sincere gratitude to all the delegates on and off the Campus. Thanks to the participation of M.Sc students form Bhakthavatsalam Memorial College, Chennai, as per the MOU between the institutions.
