The Department of Financial Planning organized Technology talk on ” Consumer Education – Key for Insurance Products ” on 18/10/2023 in Gmeet. The Guest speaker of the session was Dr.Rubini.T, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, D.R.B.C.C.C Hindu College. The session began with the introduction of the speaker by Ms. Ramya, Assistant Professor. The Guest speaker shared about the consumer education can be one important prerequisite for promotion on insurance inclusion and enhancing public awareness on key local risks .The Guest speaker used examples for students to understand the concept more realistic which were useful to the students. The session was interactive and informative. The session ended with the vote of thanks.
