National Girl Child Day

We are delighted to share the report of ‘National Girl Child Day’ which was organized by the Faculty of Education, Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 11.10.23 by B.Ed. second year students at various 10 Government schools . It was a happy moment for us to spread awareness about the inequalities faced by girls in Indian society to promote awareness about the rights of the girl child. B.Ed. students insisted the importance of female education, health, and nutrition. They were wholeheartedly involved themselves and actively shared their knowledge to the school children about the value of girl child and they conducted activities like group discussion, debate, team teaching, elocution and quiz. The school students were actively participated, they showed their talents and interacted with the teacher trainees. We express our deep gratitude to our Honorable President, Er.A.C.S.Arunkumar for his guidance. We thank all the executives for their constant support.
