Guest Lecture on Leadership Lessons from the Battle Field for the Boardrooms

The Department of Defence and Strategic Studies organized a guest lecture on the topic ‘Leadership Lessons from the Battle Field for the Boardrooms. On September 7, 2023, at 10 a.m. in Seminar Hall, the event commenced with ‘Tamil Thai Valthu, followed by Mr. Jibin P. J. HOD (i/c) introducing the department. The welcome address was delivered by Nivethitaa V. Menon of the 1st year. Jophi Sanath, 1st year, introduced the guest to the audience. Dr. Malini Pandey, Additional Registrar Planning and Development, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the importance of defence studies from the battle field to the boardroom. Dr. Sathyanaraya, Dean (H & S), motivated the students to develop leadership qualities. Dr. S. Nirmala Sugirtha Rajini, Addl. Dean (H&S) encourages the students and promise to offer her fullest support for conducting this type of useful programs. Then the cheif guest hounered with shawl and memento by the dignitaries. Afterwards the speaker, Cdr. Raja Narayanaswami, took over.
