The Department of Information Technology organized a 3 day workshop on “Jamovi” between 26.07.2023 to 28.07.2023 10 a.m to 1.00 p.m. The workshop started with the welcome address given by Dr. N. Kanya, Head of the Department, Department of Information Technology. Dr. Dahlia Sam, Professor, Department of Information Technology introduced the resource person, Mr. A. Kameshwaran.
Jamovi is a free and open-source computer program that makes data analysis easy and intuitive. Students were given hands-on training in using Jamovi with various datasets. This will enable them to do further analysis in their project work. The session ended with a formal Vote of Thanks given by Mrs. C. Tamilselvi.
