The Department of Information Technology organized Association Day on 02.02.2023 at 2.00pm in University Auditorium, Ramanujam Block, Main campus. The chief guest for the day was Mr. Dinesh Kalidoss, Associate Vice President, ETLMindtree and thr Alumni guest was Mr. David Doss, HR Business Partner, Accenture. The event started with the introductory talk Why we gathered here by Ms. Hamritha, Secretary, AITZa, followed by the welcome address given by Dr. N. Kanya, HOD – IT. Then Mrs. C.Tamilselvi, Association Convener introduced the Association Office bearers and explained about the Association- AITZa. Followed by this Dr. S. Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor gave the presidential address, Dr. N. Erhiraj, Dean E& T gave the felicitation address.
The chief guest Mr.Dinesh Kalidoss, motivated the students to get Associated and do innovative Projects. The Alumni guest, Mr. David Doss, Batch 2008-2012 shared his experience about the University during period of study and motivated the students with enlightened speech.
Main part of the Association Day was to appreciate and recognise the students achivement. The award ceremony was head by our guests and all the winners received awards for different categories.
Department Magazine which compiled and edited was released by our guests and they also launched our Department website. Finally Vote of thanks was given by Ms. Infants Jose Mary, Additional Secretary, AITZa
