Department of Mathematics, Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute is happy to share the report of “One day seminar on Analysis” conducted on 20-01-2023 with the topic “FIXED POINTS IN BANACH SPACES”. The session was started at 2.00 pm with the welcome address by Dr.T.Johnson, HOD, Department of Mathematics. The Resource person of the day was, Mr.P.Thirumal, Assistant Professor , PG Department of Mathematics, DG.Vaishnav college, Chennai. The session was very much informative and gave insights to the participants to understand about the various concepts in FIXED POINTS IN BANACH SPACES and particularly how to solve a system of Equations using Fixed points. The Highlight of the Seminar is the active participation of the PG students from Bhaktavatsalam Memorial College, Chennai – Our MOU collaborated Institution. Vote of Thanks was given by the Event Coordinator, Ms.C.Saranya, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics.
