The Department of ECE conducted six days FDP program on Communication & Computation from 13-12-22 to 19-12-22 organised by Dr.J.Ann Roseela –AP/ECE , Dy Dean(UJNP)and Dr.S.Deborah – AP/ECE. The programme was held through online Gmeet with more than 50 participants from various institutions. Dr.U.Jayalatsumi, HOD-ECE welcomed the Speaker on the inaugural day and addressed the participants.

Day 1 (13-12-22)
Dr.Indira Rajasingh ,Visiting faculty of University of Newcastle- Australia has illustrated the intricacies of Theoretical Computer Science in Network communication.Speaker introduction was given by Dr.J.Ann Roseela Asst.Prof/ECE,Dy Dean(UJNP)
Day 2 (14-12-22)
Mr.J.Santhanakrishnan (Rtd) Deputy Manager of BSNL – Chennai demonstrated the significance of Python in software Defined networks. Speaker introduction was given by Ms.V.Menaka, Asst.Prof/ECE
Day 3 (15-12-22)
Dr.Mohammed Ismaeel Maricar from De Montfort University, Leicester – UK addressed the participants on Recent Developments in miniaturized electronic devices with a case study. Speaker introduction was given by Dr.G.Kavitha , Asst.Prof/ECE
Day 4 (16-12-22)
Dr.Paul Manual,Professor of Kuwait University substantiated the need for IoT and Smart city. Speaker introduction was given by Dr.Priya Stalin –Asso.Prof/ECE
Day 5 (17-12-22)
Prof.Dr.R.Senthamizhselvi,from Easwari Engineering college elaborated about Speech processing in an interesting manner with real time examples. Speaker introduction was given by Dr.S.Deborah –Asst.Prof/ECE
Day 6 (18-12-22)
Mr.S. Balaji ,Deputy General Manager – BSNL briefed the nuances of M2M Communication. Speaker introduction was given by Dr.T.Vimala –Prof/ECE
The Six days FDP on both communication & computation stream with eminent speakers across the globe was really innovative and thought-provoking.we boast of good number of participants from outside colleges like Sathyabama,SRM,AMET, Sairam ,PSR,Manukula vinayakar, Saveetha,AVN,Sri venkateshwara,Thai moogambigai polytechnic, S.A college. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Dr.S.Sampath kumar.
