The Department of Civil Engineering, Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute organized the Subject Lecture on “ESTIMATION AND QUANTITY SURVEYING” on 20th September 2022 between 2.00PM to 4.00 PM for the Final Year B.Tech Civil Engineering students.
Dr.T.Kavitha HOD-Civil Engg delivered the welcome address. Ms.Pavithra, II Year Civil, introduced the speaker to the participants.
The Speaker of this session Dr.T.Edwin D Thangam,Professor, Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, gave a very perceivable and informative lecture on Estimation and Quantity Surveying,How to prepare estimation for Old and New Buildings.How to valuate building.
The students actively participated in this program and gained the knowledge about the practical applications of Estimation and Quantity Surveying.
Today’s Program was organized and conducted by Dr.A.Arivumangai, Associate Professor (Civil Engg.Department)
The program was concluded with vote of thanks given by R.Aparna, IV Year B.Tech Student and Overall comparing by R.Bharat, III Year B.Tech Student.
