‘ART IS AS NATURAL AS SUNSHINE AND AS VITAL AS NOURISHMENT’

With immense pleasure we would like to share the report of the 5 DAY Training on ‘Art and Craft’ , Day 1 held on 15.9.2022 at 10.30 a.m at B.Ed. II year classroom, Phase II campus.
The event instigated with a warm welcome address by Dr.K.Geetha, Principal. The chief guest of the day Mr.A.Thomas, Market Development Incharge, delivered an enriching and illuminating thoughts about Art and Craft. The mentor for the day Mrs.Geetha, a Fevicrly art professional gave a brief note upon the 5 day workshop, which includes pencil shading, colour theory, Indian art forms,3 D glass painting, study project, best out of waste, creative art and mural art. The day one covered the topics, pencil shading and colour theory. The mentor Mrs. Geetha taught the students various methods of drawing lines and different shading techniques using various pencil shades. Followed by giving brief note upon colour theory. Students were engaged in drawing various types of lines and strokes ,including painting of various colour theory ,such as primary and secondary colour , warm and cool colour etc. The students were highly motivated to learn, explore and grow.
