The Department of Civil Engineering, Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute organized the Subject Lecture on “BUILDING MATERIALS” on 06th September 2022 between 2.00PM to 4.00 PM for the Second Year B.Tech Civil Engineering students.
Dr.T.Kavitha HOD-Civil Engg delivered the welcome address. Ms.Pavithra, II Year Civil, introduced the speaker to the participants.
The Speaker of this session Dr.S.Arivalagan, Joint Registrar, Infrastructure, Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, gave a very comprehensible and educational lecture on Building materials , how various materials came into usage from olden days to present day.
The students actively participated in this program and gained the knowledge about the practical applications of Building Materials.
Today’s Program was organized and conducted by Mr.D.Ramakrishna, Assistant Professor (Civil Engg.Department)
The program was concluded with vote of thanks given by R.Bharat, III Year B.Tech Student.
