Department of Chemistry’s Day – 21 Report

Today the chemistry students visited the organic lab at 9 Am. They performed todays work as dilution of the extract with 2mg of acetone. It was filtered and placed. Only chloroform solvent was used to perform GC-MS. They used chloroform because it was only dark when compared with other solvent .After dilution they placed the sample in GC-MS because by the next day they will be getting their result. Then they returned to hostel at 2pm. After lunch. they started their work of preparing log book.
