Student visited the Nanophysics lab at 9.00 am to continue the pending research work. Already polished test piece wrapped in plastic cover was immersed in 125 ml artificial sea water in glass bottle. Artificial sea water was obtained from the marine department of the UMT. Artificial sea water is referred to as “ASW” and it consists of more of dissolved salts. Artificial sea water was used in the present work to study the corrosive activity within the limited time. He returned to the room to have his lunch. The same procedure was employed for all the 15 test pieces. Today the research work extended up to 3.00 pm. Then he visited to the library and referred books related to corrosion. As usual the day ended with the dinner at the hostel at 8.00 pm.
