Department of Physics’s Day – 8 Report

Department of Physics’s Day – 8 Report Student visited the Nanophysics lab at 9.00 am to continue the previous day research work. The research work is related to Corrosion. For the above mentioned research work the test piece of certain alloys of dimension 5 cm length and 1.5 cm thickness is used. The above mentioned test pieces were polished using Double Disc Metallographic Polishing instrument. He initially loaded the instrument with the sand paper followed by the test piece. He returned back to the room and had the lunch. After the lunch also the polishing of test pieces continued. Around 30 test pieces were polished today and it extended today upto 4.00 pm. The day ended with the dinner at 8.30 pm.
