Students visited the lab for their continuation of the previous day work..They started their work on determination of ATR-FTIR and GCMS metabolomics of passiflora foetida.
The procedure is as follows. They weighed 8gm of powered sample and added 160ml of hexane and sonicated at room temperature for 45mins
After that filtered and concentrated the solution using rotary vaccum
evaporator and collected in a tube using acetone and kept for a evaporation of acetone.Then they completed their noon meal.
They repeated the same process with chloroform solvent and kept for evaporation.Then they returned back around 4 Pm to their rooms. Had some fun and went for a dinner at 7’Pm. Purchased some beverages and household products and returned at 9:15 PM
