Faculty of Education feels delighted to share the report of the third day workshop on ‘Research Ethics and Management of Resources’ held on 17. 12. 2021 at 2:00 p.m. scheduled for 3 days in collaboration with Stella Matutina College of Education. Professor Dr. B. William Dharma Raja Professor and Head, Department of Education from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli on Research Ethics provided guidelines for the responsible conduct of research and how it educates and monitors scientists conducting research to ensure a high ethical standard. The guest listed the following ethical principles to avoid bias in experimental design, data analysis, data interpretation, peer review, personnel decisions, grant writing, expert testimony, and other aspects of research and listed 4 criteria define prideful authorship
• substantial contribution to the conception and design for the data acquisition are the data analysis and interpretation
• researcher must have contributed to draft the manuscript for critical revision of the intellectual content of the publication
• the researcher must approve the final version before publication
• the researcher must be able to accept responsibility for being accountable for the work
The session was a complete package of do’s and don’ts in the journey of research.
The three day workshop on ‘Research Ethics and Management of Resources’ came to the closer with the motivational valedictory address by Dr Radhika, Additional Registrar, phase 2 campus followed by the vote of thanks proposed by Dr Alma Dean Research, Stella matutina College of Education and National Anthem.
